Book of Conveyance

Tooltip: Casts a slow spark that teleports you to the first block it hits. Tilt your head around to guide it.

Cooldown: 16 seconds

Obtaining

  • Drop Chance:

    • 15% chance to be dropped by Evokers in Strongholds.

    • Chance is boosted by 3% per Looting level, up to a maximum of 21%.

    • Due to random drop pool (including Book of Light and Updraft), the effective chance is about ⅓ of this.

  • Alternative Source:

    • Librarians in End Villages can convert any Enchanted Book into a Book of Conveyance for 64 Emeralds.

Usage

  • Activation:

    • Right-click to cast a slow-moving spark that teleports the user to the first block it hits.

    • The spark lasts for 3 seconds and can be guided by tilting the player's head.

  • Cooldown:

    • The spell has a cooldown of 16 seconds before it can be used again.

Tips

  • Guidance: Tilt your head to navigate the spark to your desired location.

  • Preparation: Consider using this item for exploration or escaping tricky situations due to its teleportation ability.

Trivia

  • Fun Fact: The spark’s slow movement allows for precise teleportation but requires some skill to guide effectively.

Book of Updraft

Tooltip: Right-click to push yourself upwards with a light gust of wind, giving you the ability to glide freely for a short time.

Cooldown: 16 seconds

Obtaining

  • Drop Chance:

    • 15% chance to be dropped by Evokers in Strongholds.

    • Chance is boosted by 3% per Looting level, up to a maximum of 21%.

    • Due to the random drop pool (including Book of Conveyance and Book of Light), the effective chance is about ⅓ of this.

  • Alternative Source:

    • Librarians in End Villages can convert any Enchanted Book into a Book of Updraft for 64 Emeralds.

Usage

  • Activation:

    • Right-click to receive a vertical boost of approximately 22.5 blocks.

    • After the boost, you gain the ability to glide for 7 seconds.

    • Once the glide expires, Slow Falling is applied until you land.

  • Glide Cancellation:

    • The glide can be cancelled early by sneaking.

  • Cooldown:

    • The spell has a cooldown of 16 seconds, starting after landing.

Tips

  • Elytra Synergy:

    • When used with an Elytra, the boost is about 50% stronger, making it useful for regaining height.

    • The boost will close the Elytra, but it can be reopened immediately after.

  • Combination:

    • Combining the Book of Updraft with the Book of Conveyance creates an excellent mobility setup.

  • Levitation Bug:

    • Due to a bug with Levitation, being damaged during the 7-second glide may result in additional upward movement.

Trivia

  • Fun Fact: The Book of Updraft is particularly useful for vertical mobility and can enhance flying or gliding maneuvers.

Book of Light

Tooltip: Right-click to summon a friendly aura which grants healing and damage reduction to all nearby players inside.

Cooldown: 48 seconds (actual cooldown is 31 seconds)

Obtaining

  • Drop Chance:

    • 15% chance to be dropped by Evokers in Strongholds.

    • The chance is increased by 3% per Looting level, up to a maximum of 21%.

    • Due to the random drop pool (including Book of Conveyance and Book of Updraft), the effective chance is about ⅓ of this.

  • Alternative Source:

    • Librarians in End Villages can convert any Enchanted Book into a Book of Light for 64 Emeralds.

Usage

  • Activation:

    • Right-click to create a healing aura with a radius of 5.5 blocks around the user.

    • Players within the aura receive Regeneration II and Resistance I.

    • The aura also cures Weakness and Slowness debuffs.

  • Duration:

    • The aura lasts for 17 seconds.

  • Cooldown:

    • There is a 48-second cooldown between activating different auras, but it effectively starts right when the aura is created, resulting in a practical cooldown of 31 seconds.

Tips

  • Multiplayer Utility:

    • The Book of Light is exceptionally useful in multiplayer scenarios, as it can affect multiple players simultaneously with its healing and protection effects.

Trivia

  • Although the tooltip states a 48-second cooldown, the actual cooldown is 31 seconds due to the cooldown timer starting immediately upon aura creation.
