# Class Evolution

Each subclass's skill tree ends in **evolution lines** — for example Bladedancer, Marksman, Paladin, Arcanist, BattleMage, Cleric, Bard, Reaper, Slayer and Necromancer. The full list is on [Classes](/systems/classes-lv30.md).

* Each evolution line is walked node by node in your subclass's skill tree.
* Evolution stages open at **prestige 3, 7, 12 and 18**. See [Star Levels](/systems/star-levels.md).
