The Ice Walls
Trivia
The Ice Walls are the massive glacial barriers that separate the different "rings" of the world. The primary ice wall is just the first of several.
Travel through this wall is impossible except through specific "Gates" which is breaches or artificially maintained passages that lead to the outer lands.

Leviathan's Gate
This is one of the first and primary passages through the First Ice Wall, located roughly in the East.
Places: It leads to the Eastern Continents, specifically lands like Pitatia and Syrindian Scandinavia.
Inhabitants: The region just beyond this gate is settled by a mix of human groups who exited the known world, including lands of NPCs like the Dutch, Nordic, and Romani populations who established colonies like "Syrindia". These societies often live in relative harmony compared to the Known World Midgard, having integrated with the wider realm.
Trivia: It is named "Leviathan" often due to its boss' massive scale and association with the many Serpents of Earthly Waters which is mythological guardians that patrol the passage.
Dyatlov Portal
A more mysterious entry point, often linked to the real-world Dyatlov Pass incident. In this lore, the incident was not an accident but a breach into a hidden portal near the ice barrier.
Places: It connects to "The Lands of Deception" or subterranean realms sometimes associated with reptilian entities or ancient, non-human civilizations like Asgard. It is a place of high danger, acting as a trap or a hidden backdoor rather than a trade route.
Trivia: Unlike the physical "Gates" (which are gaps in the ice), the Dyatlov Portal is often described as a rift.
Summer Gate
Located to the Southwest, this is a seasonal passage created by warm currents that melt a path through the ice during specific cycles.
Trivia: It is not permanently open. The "Summer’s Gate" only opens during the Peak Solar Cycle world event of the outer systems, allowing warm water to flow in and ships to flow out.
Places: It typically leads toward the Atla or Lemurian sectors which is tropical or lush regions immediately outside the freezing barrier, often described as a paradise compared to the frozen wall itself.
