# Noviceton

### Noviceton (Levels 4–11, Small Hub): The Beloved Waypoint

**Core Amenities**

Noviceton prioritizes teaching over grandeur. The **Pocket Stack** is a cramped but cozy library where **Librarian Pip** (a perpetually tired gnome) somehow remembers every book's location. The **Pebblegate Sigil** teleports with a 5-second cast time, slower than Firstia but iconic. The **Tinlock Strongbox** holds only 50 inventory slots but features faster access. The **Little Hitch** teaches basic pet commands, and **Guildwarden "Old" Rurik** specializes in overlooked mechanics: cleansing debuffs, interrupting spells, environmental control.

**Signature District: Fix-It Row**

This street of humble repair shops charges 20% less durability loss than other towns. **Master Tinker Forge** sells low-cost repair kits, and daily "Salvage & Repair" contracts grant bonus repair resources. This makes Noviceton the **maintenance hub**—players develop affection for this simple, practical district.

**Unique NPC: Bounty Caller Mack**

Mack's rotating noticeboard displays 5 daily **mechanic-teaching bounties**: "Stun 5 Boars," "Cleanse 3 Poison Debuffs," "Interrupt 4 Enemy Spells," "Heal 100 HP with an item," "Use Environment to Kill An Enemy." Completing all 5 grants a "Mechanic Mastery" badge and 50 gold. This system ensures players internalize game mechanics through **fun rather than tutorials**.

**Surrounding Zones and Dungeons**

**Pebblerun Pastures** (levels 4–9) teaches safe farming with passive Sheep and hostile Cattle. The Miller's Mill landmark and Stone Circle micro-dungeon (3-4 earth elementals, reward chest with farming supplies) introduce gathering mechanics. **Rustlebrush Woods** (levels 6–11) presents forest traversal with quick squirrel creatures and ranged Thorn Wisps. The Ranger Station offers daily hunting contracts, and Old Oak provides meditation buffs.

**Tinlock Mine Depths** (levels 7–11, 4 floors) introduces torch mechanics (light resource management) and dwarven architecture. The final boss **Foreman Gornak** is a dwarf-like golem of fused stone and metal (180 HP) with **Molten Breath** (damage + stun) and **Ground Slam** (AoE knockback + stun). Drops include **Tinstone Gauntlets** (level 9 hands armor), **Raw Tin Ore** (crafting material), and **Miner's Lamp** (cosmetic light source granting +5% visibility in dark zones).
