Early Game Foundation (Levels 1–20)

The early game hubs establish the core patterns that all later hubs follow. Every settlement contains five universal amenities: a library (knowledge), a teleportation beacon (travel), a bank vault (security), a pet stable (companion bonding), and an adventurers' guild (community). These elements remain consistent throughout all 16 major hubs, creating a sense of reliable infrastructure as players progress upward.

Firstia (Levels 1–10): The Welcoming Beginning

Core Amenities

Firstia introduces players to hub mechanics through warmth and accessibility. The First Ledger Library is a sprawling stone building where Chronicler Moss teaches basic lore through glowing texts that respond to active quests. The Wayspire of Dawn stands as an iconic crystalline obelisk—the first teleportation beacon most players encounter. The Copperdeep Vault beneath the town square offers generous 100-slot capacity with zero withdrawal fees, establishing the principle that early banking is encouraged. The Paws & Packs Yard allows new adventurers to bond with first companions (wolves, rabbits, hawks), and Captain Elowen Brighthand runs the Adventurers' Guild with patient teaching about combat mechanics (stuns, interrupts, basic formations).

Signature District: Market of Lucky Scraps

This open-air bazaar from Scrap Merchant Dolo sells starter relics that level with players for up to 10 levels. These items—Novice Axes, Leather Vests, Starter Charms granting +1% XP—feel personal because they grow with the player rather than becoming immediately obsolete. The market's color-coded stalls teach newcomers that shopping and gearing are core gameplay loops.

Unique NPC: Relic Master Vex

Vex trades player stories for cosmetics. Completing thematic early quests (surviving your first dungeon, crafting your first item) unlocks cosmetic rewards—dyed armor, unique tabards, personality items—that make new characters feel distinct rather than generic. This NPC philosophy carries throughout the game: stories matter as much as stats.

Surrounding Zones and Dungeons

Firstia's three zones teach progression escalation. Verdant Hollow (levels 1–8) offers safe grasslands where Trembling Boars and Grass Hoppers teach basic combat. Landmarks include the Lost Well Site (a 4-5 room micro-dungeon) and Shepherd's Shrine (a rest point). Copper Thicket (levels 3–10) introduces forest navigation with Timber Wolves (coordinated packs) and Thorned Sprites (ranged magic). The Thicket Forester's Camp offers daily hunting contracts, and Ancient Stump provides healing sprouts (collectible items).

Firstprowler Cavern is the main dungeon (levels 6–10, 3 floors). The dungeon teaches underground traversal, echo mechanics, and pillar-based positioning. The final boss Cavern Mother is a large armored crab with 150 HP that teaches timing through her Shell Harden ability (50% damage reduction followed by a vulnerability window). Defeating her grants the Crusteel Helm (blue-rarity head armor), Molt Shards (crafting materials), and the Firstprowler's Key (cosmetic key unlocking a treasure room with the Cavern Explorer's Cape and 100 bonus gold).
